Testimonials
Denmark Pilongo
Customer Service Specialist

"I am glad I found The American Institute because they helped me in improving my conversation fluency and developing my confidence. At first, I was very intimidated when speaking in English, but I became more and more comfortable. I am currently working as customer service specialist in the BPO/Call Center industry, and I have The American Institute to thank for. I am still a part of the institute through their English Club called Universal Pro-English Club. We've done many activities including trips to Baguio, Lucena, interview strategies, and many more so that we can use English in a natural setting."

Alice Anod
Accountant and Auditor

"The English language Specialists are very different from all the teachers I've had in high school or college. Most teachers I've had in the past were very strict and distanced themselves from the students, but these guys will make you feel like you're one of them. In fact, we call them by their first names, not "sir" or ma'am." They respect us as students with individuality, and at the same time, we respect them for their knowledge and expertise. I used to work for a relatively small local bank, but now I work for a major international firm after developing my speech and communication skills through them."

Elaine Villafuerte
Hotel Operations Specialist

"Before I came to The American Institute, I was already somewhat confident with my English; I simply wanted to polish my speech and communication skills. What I found was that I had so much more to learn. They really taught me how not to just speak English, but how to speak WELL. I was able to improve my critical thinking skills and became a more organized speaker. Now, I work for a five-star hotel, and I am so much more confident when dealing with local executives as well as foreign business professionals. I would highly recommend their services."

yeah, drink hard, and drink like there's no tomorrow. a case of brew for the broken hearted. have some smoke while you're at it too, cigarettes complement alcohol way better than coffee does. care to try a case of crazy glue? we're offering free scalpels too if you're interested... Cheesy

but if you want a slight spicy after taste for you bleeding heart, you can always find a crate of tabasco sauce at a retail outlet near you  cheers1

There is no way you can forget someone you really love. All you can do is to accept the fact that you cannot be together anymore. I assume it is the case, since you want to forget.

Yes, I agree.  "accept the fact that you cannot be together anymore" - in this manner, it will be really the easiest way to forget him then move on.  Don't waste your time, time is too short!

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up!

Surround yourself with people that LOVE you!!!

Forget is one of the hardest things to do usually to your love one or in a relationship, its really hard to do because only your heart can make decision or do for itself.  Mind is just a second opinion to forget her/him.  I think that's why its hard to forget of someone love because there's has a two can decision for your self the one is from your mind and the last is from your heart.

Forget him/her?  Take some interesting thing that you wanna do and probably can make you forget her/him little by little, its step by step like minutes by minutes, hours, days, months and more than that.

Spend your time to your friends and family, hang out, drinks, watching, anything what bonding that you want.  Just keep your self busy to other things.

usual still time will tell you if you really already forget her/him and need time to heal you every single day.

hi guys! i just want to share with you what i went through these past months...

forgetting is really hard... and i'm still in that process. i used to cry a lot; sulk and get drunk a lot; go to bars and dance a lot; meet other guys; i did everything, that i think would lessen my pain... but these things made my pain even worse because everytime i drink, i remember the time when we used to drink together; everytime i go dancing, it's him i want to dance with; everytime i meet a new guy, i always wish it was him.

i was starting to think that i'm going crazy because i can't think of anything but my need to be with him... i realized that whatever i do, my pain wouldn't be lessened; that i have to endure the pain in order to be happy again; that i have to remember so i could finally forget...

Pardon me guys for being melodramatic... But that's how i'm doing it.. Now, I don't cry or get drunk anymore (i still go clubbing though.. haha..) because i chose to face my pain and i chose to remember... I haven't fully forgotten him but i'm getting there...

Tis hard to forget a broken heart!!  crybaby crybaby

Still the world will not stop revolving, time will not stop though I know you would still pray for it!! Hoping somewhere deep inside that every thing could just be a dream. A reality maybe not to forget but one that you will always remember and then learn in the long run. This things happen and it does hurt  trek trek

For me Law of Attraction! Just tell yourself you will forget about him/her. Stop thinking about that person, I know it's hard but let your friends help you. Don't try to find other, because you will just use them as your escape rope.

i say don't forget just move on.

forgetting someone who has been a part of you life is  tough especially if you have loved him dearly and truly.  people, places, things even events/situation will always crap up and make you remember. ;o)

memories will always be there, good or bad still...... at one point in your life, you loved and loved back.

be thankful, other people didn't got a chance to experience love and being loved in their lifetime. ;o)

just miss him, continue to miss him until you don't miss him at all.

it was good while it lasted.  ;o)

i totally agree. why try and forget when memory would only betray us, betray our hearts. isn't it all too naive to fall in love but disregard all the intuitions that our mind tells us that we are vulnerable to get hurt when we open ourselves to that special someone. even though we thread carefully, there are still chances that your chosen will eventually go or leave someday. it's a risk, life is a risk, love more so, riskier than the path to the grave. and in the course of our lives, we would be experiencing such sorrows that we can't seem to endure...

why try to forget when they have been a part of our lives, treasured, idolized, pedestaled, respected, cherished, venerated, and worshiped, they were at one time our inspirations to go on with life. they're in our hearts, there they will remain like the visage of the dear departed. but not so much helpful, after the break up. the good things will feel bitter and the worst times you had together would taste sour, after all, you messed up a fairly potent chemical reaction. and maybe crazy glue isn't the answer. one thing to consider is if you keep getting the same breakups from past relationships, if so, now you really have a problem...

now i'm stumped...

if there could only be a way to erase one's memory, i want to start fresh, forget all of the heartaches and the experiences...

live free and not so much so haunted by the faces, the places, and the smell of yesterdays. to forget the sceneries once shared... sigh... if only that were so easy...

There can be many ways to forget someone and it would be better if we choose those that will make us forget what we want to forget and make us remember that we have a life worth nurturing.

The painful feeling which could be fresh in one's experience can be turned into that flower in your heart gradually losing its petals, its color fading, its warmth becoming cold and its music becoming out of tune. I invite you to feel and imagine this thing, this dying flower, and pick it from your heart. Let it stay on your hand for a while, and then raise it up high. Then throw that flower away...imagine how it landed far...away... and let it have its own decay there away from you. Then look forward in the opposite direction and start walking away from it. There's another flowering plant waiting for you in the future. This plant will have flower that which is in perfect bloom, in brilliant color with that warmth and its melodies are synchronized. Look forward to this plant from now on because as you walk forward it also becomes nearer to you. It's waiting for you over there...so walk on and move on. When you arrive it will have that flower that you will want to have in your heart....and you will be smiling then...feeling those comfort and satisfaction...there in your heart...

So if you believe you want to forget, I telly you - what you believe is true at least for that while, now then let go and move on!

forgetting is one thing and moving is another thing.

its hard to forget coz even if we say we have moved on, the memories are still there.

there is no way you can forget a thing, unless you get old... but you can move on from the pain that that thing has brought upon your life. it doesnt work overnight though.

Well for me it's difficult to forget once you have loved the person. but i think the best thing to do is keep yourself busy so that you will not remember the sad moments that you had with this person. and always remember that there is a sunshine after the rain maybe he's not really meant for you. god always finds a way to give you the right person. just move on and have fun with your life it's not the end of the world remember.. groupwave2

The past is what makes us today. Those are histories that build certain character within a person. Win or loss, it has to be treated alike.  Cool

For me, its really hard to forget the one you really love. But try to accept that he's not the one meant for you. You should start to do things alone or give time for yourself to hangout with friends and meet another person. This is one way of forgetting the one you really love.

It's just a matter of moving on. Make yourself available to be with people whom you "somehow" took for granted when you had a realationship. Follow the life of least resistance, what happens happens.  victory

Forgetting your past romance is hard but if you will think of it on its brighter side you would realize that being single is a gift. The gift of singleness is a gift which given by our Heavenly Father. Me as a single person i could do a lot of stuff were you can't do it if you are in a relationship status, so i suggest that you need to take your time serving our Father because he knows who is the right person and when is the right time to be with your someone you love. By setting your mind in the right way you could forget your past romance.
